I feel like too many people try to live up to others expectations, these are the kind of people who are never truly satisfied. They never set standards of their own so they’re constantly looking to others for reassurance and guidance. If someone has their own guidelines and idea of wrong and right, they won’t have to look for acceptance in other people. Even though it’s seems like something simple, for a lot of people it’s a constant battle between what they think is acceptable vs. what others think is acceptable. It’s hard to be completely content when others opinions are all around, many people are naturally and easily influenced. Everyone needs a little push once in a while, but they should know what they’re capable of. They shouldn’t need to look to someone else to know that they’re great, they should know it too. If someone is pleased with themselves, then others will see that too. It shows a lot of self confidence.
